Switch To ASP

ACEAfter much hemming & hawing, I've finally switched to ASP. This is primarily a server-side change, but the most important aspect of this is that it lets me switch for the one-giant-page-for-everything-blog format to a more appropriate one-page-per-topic format. Each of the updates and features is described on its own page so there is less HTML to download.

This has been a long held intention of mine and was finally implemented in part as a result of a suggestion of Michael Dayah. It also allows me to add an animated face to the titlebar.

The downside to this is that it requires a different main page, one with an asp extension. So, if you go to www.touchspin.com/chem, you will now be redirected to www.touchspin.com/chem/asppages/index.asp. If someone knows how to do this without the delay, please let me know asap and I'll implement.

Logos

There has been some question about the logos that I use. In the "header" and "footer" of each page there appears an atom symol and some funny looking characters. Those characters are actually a transliteration (the phonetic sounds) of the word chemistry in another language's script. (You may recognize the language.) The animated face is a variation of a logo I have used in the past for Touchspin Design my business for design and implementation of media, web, images, and graphics. In the highly likely case that you can't read the miniscule characters on it, it just says "Touchspin Interactive Periodic Table."
